This memorial to Michael Wittenstein is a testament to Michael’s devotion to his family, his sense of humor, and the joy and happiness he brought to each and everyone he knew. He was truly a gifted and giving person. No act, no matter how evil and horrendous it was, will deter our memories of Michael. The world is so

much poorer with him gone. He has been part of so many and always will be. We

know he is in a better place now,

watching over us from above. There are not enough words to express how much

he is loved and how much he’ll be

missed. He will always be remembered and his love will carry on for eternity.

 

What you read today is only an

inadequate expression of what we carry in our hearts. Words pale in the shadow of grief; they seem insufficient even to measure the brave sacrifice of those you

love and so admire.

 

The best we can do is remember Michael
